Thirty-odd lines covering the districts. Buy the ticket at the kiosk before boarding and validate on board; drivers do not always sell. Newer buses carry contactless readers at the doors that take a plain bank card — Visa and Mastercard logos are on the machine — plus a screen showing the line and the next stop, and USB charging sockets on board.

Single journey, any distance — 4 lei. Tram outer section — 6 lei. One-day pass, all routes — 10 lei. Seven days — 30 lei. Fifteen days — 60 lei. Thirty days — 120 lei. Student pass — 120 lei. Transferable pass, not tied to a name — 200 lei. Pensioner pass at half price — 60 lei. VAT included. Read off the tariff sheet in the kiosk window in August 2026; the sheet is headed valid from 1 September 2025. Two rides in a day and the one-day pass already pays; eight rides in a week and the seven-day pass does.
