Bitcoin ATMs in Craiova
Six machines are listed in this city; two are confirmed, one of them open around the clock. Tap a location to open its map. They turn cash into coin in minutes with no account, and charge several per cent for it.
Electroputere Parc MallconfirmedCalea București 80 — first floor, food court, next to KFCMap
Bitomat. Open with the mall, 10:00–22:00 daily — not Auchan’s 07:00, since the machine is upstairs in the food court and not in the hypermarket. Takes RON, EUR, USD, CHF, GBP and HUF. Sells BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, USDC, TRX, BNB and SOL, and pays out in lei when you sell. Support +40 348 132 922.
Strada Madona Dudu 15confirmedStreet entrance, between Scufița Roșie and BSG Amanet ExchangeMap
Bitomat’s second machine in Craiova, and the one that matters at night: open 24 hours, straight off the street, no mall hours to work around.

Before you confirm anything
Check the coin and, for anything other than Bitcoin, the network — these machines list ERC20, TRC20, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon and BSC, and coin sent on the wrong one is usually gone. Scan your own wallet’s QR code, check the first and last characters of the address on screen, and keep the receipt and transaction ID until the coin lands.
If you are selling
The QR code sends your coin to the machine; the barcode on the ticket is what pays you out. A machine holds only so much cash, so check the operator’s live balance page before travelling, and keep the ticket if it pays out short.
The commission, as far as it can be pinned down
| Published by either operator | Nothing. No percentage on their sites, and none on the machine listings |
|---|
| Where the charge sits | In the rate on the screen — the gap between it and the market price — plus any flat fee |
|---|
| World average for machines like these | Roughly 10 to 15 per cent on a purchase, by the machine directories’ own figures, which are biased low because operators charging more switch reporting off |
|---|
| Both operators here | Have price reporting switched off, so no live figure exists for these machines |
|---|
| The only number that counts | The rate on the confirmation screen. Check spot on your phone, enter the amount, compare, walk away if it is worse than you accept |
|---|
Checked 25 September 2026. Photograph the rate screen with an amount entered and this becomes a measured figure.
What the same purchase costs elsewhere
| Exchange account | A fraction of a per cent up to about 1.5 per cent, but needs an account and a transfer |
|---|
| Card app | Typically 1 to 3 per cent, instant, no cash |
|---|
| Machine | Minutes, cash in hand, no account — and several times the price of either |
|---|
Machines sell speed and anonymity, not rates. Treat one like an airport exchange counter.
