Parcels without anyone at home

Every courier in Romania now delivers to lockers or pickup points, and every shop of any size offers it at checkout. Choose one on your route, and the parcel waits for you at any hour instead of you waiting for it. The terms below are the operators’ own, checked 25 September 2026.

easybox — Sameday

The biggest network, over 4,700 machines nationwide at supermarket car parks, petrol stations and blocks; open around the clock except the ones inside malls, which keep mall hours. Choose “livrare la easybox” at checkout, pick the machine, and when the parcel lands you get a PIN and a QR code by SMS, e-mail and in the Sameday app. Tap the screen, enter the PIN or scan the code, take the parcel, shut the door. Anyone holding the code can collect, so a friend can too. You have 36 hours from the notice, 72 if it landed on a Friday, 48 on a Saturday; the app lets you buy an extension of 24, 48, 72 hours or up to 7 days if you ask before the last 12 hours. Pay online or by card at the machine; eMAG charges 10 lei if you pay at pickup. Miss the deadline and it goes back.

FANbox — FAN Courier

About 4,000 lockers and PayPoint partner shops, also open around the clock outside malls. Same idea: code by SMS, e-mail or the FAN Courier app, tap the screen, collect. 48 hours from the notice, free; longer costs money, bought per parcel in the app, or you switch on automatic extension once and forget about it. Envelopes to 500 g and parcels to 30 kg. Card payment at the locker. No returns through it.

Ship & Go — Cargus

Not lockers but shops and kiosks that hold parcels for you, so the opening hours are the shop’s. The generous one: five days to collect.

Packeta and the rest

Packeta delivers to FANbox lockers and its own points; DPD and GLS use partner shops. Whatever the courier, the rule holds: pick a locker or a point at checkout, never the home address.

eMAG showroom, Auchan Craiovița

Order on eMAG, choose the showroom, collect with your ID at the counter. The route for anything too big for a locker drawer. Listed under Household electronics on this site.

One rule covers all of them: never choose home delivery. A locker in a supermarket car park you pass anyway is open at three in the morning and never rings a bell that nobody answers.
