An outdoor bar in a walled yard on Strada Frații Buzești, a few doors down from [[casa-plesia]] and a short walk south of the square. Long trestle benches under a fig tree, a raised timber deck, wine barrels for standing tables, festoon lights and old iron railings left where they were. Beer is the point — taps at a bar built into the corner of the yard — and there is a pizza counter in the same yard rather than in a separate place. Overhead misters run along the deck, which is the reason the yard stays usable on a hot evening. Cats live here and the regulars feed them.

The pizza counter
Coana Pizza works out of a hatch in the same yard: a lit chalkboard of classics and signature pizzas, whole or as pizzetta, plus focaccia, fries and beer sticks. You order at the hatch and carry it to whatever bench you are on. Not a separate restaurant — part of the same yard.
Where to sit
Three kinds of seating in one yard: the trestle benches under the fig, which fill first; the raised deck under the misters, which is the coolest spot; and barrels and high tables along the cobbles for standing. It runs late, and it gets loud once it fills up — come early if you want to hear each other.
The menu, as it stood
Copied from the printed menu on 24 August 2026 (their revision 01102025). Prices in lei, for that date only — a record of what was on offer, not a live menu. Check at the bar.
The bar on each line is what you get for the money — lei per litre for anything poured, lei per 100 g for anything eaten. Longest and greenest is the best value in that list; short and red is the dearest. Compared only within each list, since a beer and a pizza are not comparable, and lines with no printed size get no bar.
Standing offers printed on the same menu: 25% off everything except cigarettes Monday to Friday until 16:00; Monday 25% off everything; Tuesday 25% off wines and crafts; Wednesday Tuborg draught at a set price; Thursday one free shot with every shot. Offers do not stack. Order and pay at the bar. The printed menu points you at the chalkboards over the bar for anything it does not list — rotating craft beers and a handful of mixed drinks — so that is where to look for what is on tonight. The house asks you not to feed the cat — she is old and under treatment.
