Florin's place, and the pizza to beat in Craiova — thin base, blistered crust, real mozzarella, and cheaper than anything of the same quality in town. The terrace sits in the old centre by the National Theatre, which is about as good a spot as the city has. Order the margherita. The ice cream is worth staying for.

Struggles on a hot day. The upstairs room is the warmest part; the terrace is the cooler option.
The bill, and why it makes no sense
This is the best price-for-value pizza on earth. I cannot explain it and neither can anyone else: the base, the mozzarella and the terrace by the theatre all belong to a more expensive pizza than the one on the bill. You eat more than you pay for. That is not a slogan — it is the arithmetic. Everything else on this page is information. This is a recommendation, and it is mine.
